ABOUT

Hanna Paulson is a 24 year old illustrator in Boise, Idaho. She works primarily with watercolors and acrylic, sometimes dabbling in digital cartooning. Her favorite subjects are animals, cartoons, and things that go bump in the night.

She first entered the scene with her two-part zine Talking to Ghosts, which aimed to turn feelings of anxiety and depression into more tangible and relatable monsters. Since then, her work has been featured several times around Boise, including instructional comics for local conventions Anime Oasis and Tomodachi Fest, and most recently in the 6x6 issue "Home,"  produced by Mystery House Comics.
